Sweet Pal
Coming to the App Store

Patients arrive with a story, not an empty logbook.

Sweet Pal helps people living with type 1 diabetes log meals, boluses and activity in their own words, and review them in order. It doesn't prescribe and doesn't replace the care team: it brings them better material.

The app currently speaks Italian.

Your day

What it does, concretely.

Four functions, designed for life between appointments.

Logging

The logbook writes itself in conversation.

Meals, boluses, activity and symptoms are captured in natural language, with time and context. Adherence rises when logging costs little.

What it doesn't do.

We say this clearly to patients too, inside the app.

It doesn't suggest insulin doses.
Not in chat, not anywhere. Dosing questions are referred to the care team.
It isn't a medical device.
It doesn't diagnose and doesn't replace the sensor, the pump or their software.
It doesn't work behind the scenes.
Data analysis only runs with the patient's explicit consent, and can be switched off at any time.
The data can come to the appointment.
Conversations export to PDF; glucose, meals and boluses stay readable in the day view and in Apple Health.

Try it before you mention it to patients.
